The Chula Vista Genealogical Society (CVGS) (https://chulavistagenealogysociety.wildapricot.org/) hosts four genealogy-related meetings each month.
The January 2025 meetings are:
1) CVGS General Meeting on Wednesday, 29 January at 12 noon PST online in a Zoom meeting. The speaker is Teresa Steinkamp McMillin on "Naturalization: The Path to U.S. Citizenship," hosted by CVGS Preisdent Terri Seat. 2) Research Group Meeting on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 at 12 noon PST in a Zoom virtual meeting hosted by Randy Seaver (Research Chair). This meeting will be a discussion of recent genealogy and family history news, family trees, searching for records, and how they apply to your genealogy research. A handout is available after the class.
3) Genealogy Education Class on Tuesday, 21 January 2025 at 1 p.m. PST in-person at Bonita-Sunnyside Library (4375 Bonita Road, Bonita CA 92002) in the Community Room, hosted by Karen Smith. 4) DNA Interest Group Meeting on Wednesday, 22 January 2025 at 12 noon PST in a Zoom vitual meeting hosted by Randy Seaver (Research Chair). This meeting will be a discussion of recent genetic genealogy news, DNA testing and analysis, and how they apply to your genealogy research. A handout is available after the class.
NOTE: The Zoom meetings are open to all registered persons, but are limited to 100 total seats.
